Biography

Since 2002, Massimo Delogu has been the  technical-scientific coordinator of a working group on Ecodesign, at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence, which carries out basic and applied research activities, through involvement in research projects and collaborations with industries, public and private bodies, at national and international level. In recent years, the Department has been involved in research projects and collaborations with industries, public and private bodies, both nationally and internationally. The topics addressed in recent years concern the automotive and electrical-electronic equipment sectors, and in particular: comparative analyses of the environmental profile of products and technologies through the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA); the development and application of eco-design models and tools; the simulation and analysis of end-of-life management scenarios for products (recycling of materials and recovery of components in accordance with current EU directives) and the valorization of production waste.

Massimo Delogu, dal 2002, è coordinatore tecnico-scientifico di un gruppo di lavoro sul Ecodesign, presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze, che porta avanti attività di ricerca, di base ed applicata, attraverso il coinvolgimento in progetti di ricerca e collaborazioni con industrie, enti pubblici e privati, a livello nazionale ed internazionale. Le tematiche affrontate in questi anni interessano i settori dell’automotive, delle apparecchiature elettriche-elettroniche e riguardano in particolare: analisi comparative del profilo ambientale di prodotti e tecnologie attraverso l’applicazione della Life Cycle Assessment (LCA); lo sviluppo ed applicazione di modelli e strumenti di Ecodesign; la simulazione ed analisi di scenari di gestione del fine-vita di prodotti (riciclaggio di materiali e recupero di componenti in accordo alle attuali direttive comunitarie) e di valorizzazione degli scarti di produzione.
