  • Master degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florence in 2009, defending the thesis: “Development of a Magnetorheological Damper for Motorcycle Suspension”
  • In 2014, he received a PhD in Industrial Engineering defending the thesis: “In-depth Metropolitan Road Accident Database Development and Accident Analysis”
  • His current research activity concerns on-scene and retrospective in-depth investigations and the analysis of the road accident causations and reconstruction with the DACOTA methodology. He has also acquired expertise in the injuries analysis with the main injury scores (AIS: Abbreviated Injury Scale and ISS: Injury Severity Score) and in the field of road accident analysis and database development and management. He has been involved in the following projects: InSAFE, MIRPI and DAVID. Since 2012 he is also involved in RASIF project (Road Accident Serious Injuries in Florence) as investigator and specialist accident reconstruction and analyst.
